Who are we?
Iron Duo – Educating the Next Generation for Unity and Zionism
The Iron Duo project is a unique, first-of-its-kind initiative that brings the spirit of unity from the battlefield in reserve service into Israeli society.
As part of the project, pairs of reserve soldiers who fought together in Operation Iron Swords—and who represent differing viewpoints—meet with a wide range of audiences, especially youth in educational settings.
Through their joint and personal stories, these reservists deliver a living example and a powerful message: that despite disagreements and differences, mutual respect and the willingness to sacrifice for one another and for the country make it possible to fight side by side in battle—and to live together in civilian life as well.
The project is offered at a subsidized cost, is recognized by the Gefen program, and operates in collaboration with Israel’s leading educational networks and with the IDF’s Chief Education Corps.
