Our home depends on us
October 7th changed everything. Over 300,000 reservists were called up, balancing family, work, and service, and fighting on all fronts to protect our home. We are here because we have no other country, and because our children’s future depends on us.
Our mission is clear.
While some of the of the State of Israel are on the front lines, all of us are enlisted. Our families need support, strength, and the assurance that they’re not alone.
Together, we’ll focus on what truly matters: victory and a safe return home.
Building a Better Tomorrow
When the war ends, we will continue to lead the change—strengthening unity and building a better society. Two of Nifgashim’s most impactful initiatives — The Israeli Reservist Community and Iron Duo — are grounded in the spirit and values of Israel’s reservists. These projects provide urgent support to reservists and their families, while also channeling their commitment and unity into broader social transformation, with a focus on strengthening youth and national cohesion.

The Reserve Duty Community, established by the Nifgashim movement in collaboration with Israel’s leading social organizations, operates under a unique model that combines:

Organization Mission
Nifgashim is a civic movement that brings together Israeli and Jewish communities around shared values of unity, resilience, and national service. Inspired by Israel’s reservists, Nifgashim launches innovative projects that strengthen society, combat polarization, and prepare the next generation for meaningful leadership and solidarity.

Our Team
‘Miluimnikim’ was founded by ‘Nifgashim’, a-political growing movement seeking to connect and unify Israeli society.
‘Nifgashim’ united over 60 Israeli organizations to champion our cause together and support our reservists.
‘Miluimnikinm’ is operated by a lean team of passionate reservists on the front lines, together with leaders in the business, defense, and NGO sectors in Israel.
Who we are
David Solomon
Founder & CEO
Commander in Reserves, and founder of Nifgashim. Recognized as one of the 40 under 40 most influential individuals in Israel. Honored for his leadership and social Activity by the Zionist Leadership Institute.
Dani Goodman
Project Manager
Dani serves in the elite unit of Maglan in reserves and has spent most of his time since 10/7 serving in Gaza and up North. Dani was awarded the Yom Ha'atzmaut President Award for his service.
Shai Bernstein
New York Branch
Shai served as a Captain in the elite unit of Sayeret Givati. He works in Tech and relocated to NY for his wife’s fellowship 2 years ago. Since October 7th, Shai has been coming back and forth from Gaza to NY - to join his unit.
